Alan S. Levy
Founder & President
​
Alan Levy spent 16 years in the Pharmaceutical Industry in roles from maintenance and reliability engineering, to Facilities and Operations, to project and program management of design and sustainability programs. In 2013, he was honored by the Engineers' Club of Philadelphia as Young Engineer of the Year for a combination of Professional, Professional Society, Education, and Charitable Service. Mr. Levy is also an award winning member of the International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering, being named International Member of the Year in 2015.

Leveraging years of experience working with students in university Chapters of professional societies and building collaboration with the Professional Chapters of the same professional societies, Mr. Levy decided to start Epee Consulting. Professional societies try to bring professional content into the universities, but there are a number of challenges facing them. Some Chapters get overwhelmed with too many universities to support, others must support a region too large to serve in person, and every Chapter has to deal with the student leaders graduating and leaving every year. Having lived through these challenges, Levy realized a modern virtual platform is the solution, because they enable a small number of professionals to teach any number of students irrespective location and distance by working directly with the university.

Levy's vision for Epee is to provide this virtual platform to connect the universities directly to the industry professionals, thereby driving a consistent approach within and between universities that can be utilized by every professional society. Having already built collaboration with many professional societies, Levy decided to start Epee to serve as an organizational hub with the infrastructure to roll out this concept on everybody's behalf.

The President of Global BioPharm Solutions, former Head of North American Supply Chain for J&J/McNeil, and a good friend. Steve brings a positive impact to company success with interactive, high energy training and serves as an advisor to Epee for professional content and our approach to training the trainers. He is also a consultant in the Pharma/Biotech space, on process improvement, quality upgrades, supply chain efficiency and risk assessment and mitigation.
